Sneath's Mill

A unique, Grade 1 Listed, brick octagonal tower mill reputedly built in 1779 if the date stone over the door is to be believed. it is the only survivor of a group of three corn mills and most certainly the oldest tower mill in Lincolnshire. It suffered damage in the 1930's and has not been operated since. Emergency repairs were carried out in 1992. The Civic Society is supporting the restoration of the mill through the Sneath's Mill Trust which is dedicated to restoring the mill.

The Long Sutton and District Historic Building Preservation trust was also formed to ensure the preservation of historic buildings in the area.
